Shēnméngjì 26

1 Nǐ jìn qù de le Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ wéi yè zhī dì jūzhù ,
2 Jiù yào cóng Yēhéhuá nǐ shén cì nǐde dì shàng jiāng suǒ shōu de gè zhòng chū shú de tǔchǎn qǔ xiē lái , chéng zaì kuāngzi lǐ , wǎng Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ xuǎnzé yào lì wéi tā míng de jū suǒ qù ,
3 Jiàn dāngshí zuò jìsī de , duì tā shuō , wǒ jīnrì xiàng Yēhéhuá nǐ shénmíng rèn , wǒ yǐ lái dào Yēhéhuá xiàng wǒmen lièzǔ qǐshì yīngxǔ cìgĕi wǒmen de dì .
4 Jìsī jiù cóng nǐ shǒu lǐ qǔ guō kuāngzi lái , fàng zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén de tán qián .
5 Nǐ yào zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén miànqián shuō , wǒ zǔ yuán shì yī gè jiāng wáng de Yàlán rén , xià dào Āijí jìjū . tā rénkǒu xīshǎo , zaì nàli què chéng le yòu dà yòu qiáng , rén shǔ hĕn duō de guó mín .
6 Āijí rén è daì wǒmen , kǔhaì wǒmen , jiāng kǔ gōng jiā zaì wǒmen shēnshang .
7 Yúshì wǒmen āi qiú Yēhéhuá wǒmen lièzǔ de shén , Yēhéhuá tīngjian wǒmen de shēngyīn , kànjian wǒmen suǒ shòu de kùnkǔ , laólù , qīyē ,
8 Tā jiù yòng dà néng de shǒu hé shēn chūlai de bǎngbì , bìng dà kè wèi de shì yǔ shénjī qí shì , lǐng wǒmen chū le Āijí ,
9 Jiāng wǒmen lǐng jìn zhè dìfang , bǎ zhè liú nǎi yǔ mì zhī dì cìgĕi wǒmen .
10 Yēhéhuá a , xiànzaì wǒ bǎ nǐ suǒ cìgĕi wǒ dì shàng chū shú de tǔchǎn fèng le lái . suíhòu nǐ yào bǎ kuāngzi fàng zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén miànqián , xiàng Yēhéhuá nǐde shén xià baì .
11 Nǐ hé Lìwèi rén , bìng zaì nǐmen zhōngjiān jìjū de , yào yīn Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ cì nǐ hé nǐ jia de yīqiè fú fèn huānlè .
12 Mĕi fùng sān nián , jiù shì shí fèn qǔ yī zhī nián , nǐ qǔ wán le yīqiè tǔchǎn de shí fèn ...zhīyī , yào fèn gĕi Lìwèi rén hé jìjū de , yǔ gūér guǎfu , shǐ tāmen zaì nǐ chéng zhōng kĕyǐ chī de bǎozú .
13 Nǐ yòu yào zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén miànqián shuō , wǒ yǐ jiāng shèngwù cóng wǒ jia lǐ ná chūlai , gĕi le Lìwèi rén hé jìjū de , yǔ gūér guǎfu , shì zhào nǐ suǒ fēnfu wǒde yīqiè mìnglìng . nǐde mìnglìng wǒ dōu méiyǒu wéibeì , yĕ méiyǒu wàngjì .
14 Wǒ shǒu sāng de shíhou , méiyǒu chī zhè shèngwù . bú jiéjìng de shíhou , yĕ méiyǒu ná chūlai , yòu méiyǒu wéi sǐ rén sòng qù . wǒ tīng cóng le Yēhéhuá wǒ shén de huà , dōu zhào nǐ suǒ fēnfu de xíng le .
15 Qiú nǐ cóng tiān shàng , nǐde shèng suǒ chuí kàn , cì fú gĕi nǐde bǎixìng Yǐsèliè yǔ nǐ suǒ cìgĕi wǒmen de dì , jiù shì nǐ xiàng wǒmen lièzǔ qǐshì cì wǒmen liú nǎi yǔ mì zhī dì .
16 Yēhéhuá nǐde shén jīnrì fēnfu nǐ xíng zhèxie lǜ lì diǎnzhāng , suǒyǐ nǐ yào jìnxīn jìn xìng jǐn shǒu zūnxíng .
17 Nǐ jīnrì rèn Yēhéhuá wéi nǐde shén , yīngxǔ zūnxíng tāde dào , jǐn shǒu tāde lǜ lì , jièmìng , diǎnzhāng , tīng cóng tāde huà .
18 Yēhéhuá jīnrì zhào tā suǒ yīngxǔ nǐde , yĕ rèn nǐ wéi tāde zǐmín , shǐ nǐ jǐn shǒu tāde yīqiè jièmìng ,
19 Yòu shǐ nǐ de chēngzàn , mĕi míng , zūnróng , chāo hū tā suǒ zào de wàn mín zhī shàng , bìng zhào tā suǒ yīngxǔ de shǐ nǐ guī Yēhéhuá nǐ shén wéi shèngjié de mín .

Shēnméngjì 26 Commentary

Chapter 26

Confession in offering the first-fruits. (1-11) The prayer after disposal of the third year's tithe. (12-15) The covenant between God and the people. (16-19)

Verses 1-11 When God has made good his promises to us, he expects we should own it to the honour of his faithfulness. And our creature comforts are doubly sweet, when we see them flowing from the fountain of the promise. The person who offered his first-fruits, must remember and own the mean origin of that nation, of which he was a member. A Syrian ready to perish was my father. Jacob is here called a Syrian. Their nation in its infancy sojourned in Egypt as strangers, they served there as slaves. They were a poor, despised, oppressed people in Egypt; and though become rich and great, had no reason to be proud, secure, or forgetful of God. He must thankfully acknowledge God's great goodness to Israel. The comfort we have in our own enjoyments, should lead us to be thankful for our share in public peace and plenty; and with present mercies we should bless the Lord for the former mercies we remember, and the further mercies we expect and hope for. He must offer his basket of first-fruits. Whatever good thing God gives us, it is his will that we make the most comfortable use we can of it, tracing the streams to the Fountain of all consolation.

Verses 12-15 How should the earth yield its increase, or, if it does, what comfort can we take in it, unless therewith our God gives us his blessing? All this represented the covenant relation between a reconciled God and every true believer, and the privileges and duties belonging to it. We must be watchful, and show that according to the covenant of grace in Christ Jesus, the Lord is our God, and we are his people, waiting in his appointed way for the performance of his gracious promises.

Verses 16-19 Moses here enforces the precepts. They are God's laws, therefore thou shalt do them, to that end were they given thee; do them, and dispute them not; do them, and draw not back; do them, not carelessly and hypocritically, but with thy heart and soul, thy whole heart and thy whole soul. We forswear ourselves, and break the most sacred engagement, if, when we have taken the Lord to be our God, we do not make conscience of obeying his ( 1 Peter. 1:2 ) should be holy, ( Ephesians 1:4 ) ; purified a peculiar people, that we might not only do good works, but be zealous in them, Tit. 2:14 . Holiness is true honour, and the only way to everlasting honour.
