Mark 13:32-37

No One Knows That Day or Hour

32 "But concerning that day or that hour, 1no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, 2nor the Son, 3but only the Father.
33 4Be on guard, 5keep awake.[a] For you do not know when the time will come.
34 6It is like a man 7going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants[b] in charge, 8each with his work, and commands 9the doorkeeper to stay awake.
35 10Therefore stay awake--for you do not know when the master of the house will come, 11in the evening, or 12at midnight, or 13when the rooster crows,[c] or 14in the morning--
36 lest 15he come suddenly and 16find you asleep.
37 And what I say to you I say to all: 17Stay awake."
