The Altar of Incense

30:1-5pp -- Ex 37:25-28

1 "Make an altar1 of acacia wood for burning incense.2

2 It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits higha--its horns3 of one piece with it.

    • a 30:2 - That is, about 1 1/2 feet (about 0.5 meter) long and wide and about 3 feet (about 0.9 meter) high
      3 Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.4

      4 Make two gold rings5 for the altar below the molding--two on opposite sides--to hold the poles used to carry it.
