If God places no trust in his servants,1 if he charges his angels with error,2
how much more those who live in houses of clay,3 whose foundations4 are in the dust,5 who are crushed6 more readily than a moth!7
Between dawn and dusk they are broken to pieces; unnoticed, they perish forever.8
Are not the cords of their tent pulled up,9 so that they die10 without wisdom?'11
