Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted , and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear .
And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead , he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell .
I have seen , I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come , I will send thee into Egypt.
Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted ? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come . Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
And when Peter was come to himself, he said , Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
And now, behold , the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear ?
And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul , The magistrates have sent to let you go : now therefore depart , and go in peace.
But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans , and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out .
And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed , he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
And now, behold , I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there :
And now, behold , I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
And now why tarriest thou ? arise , and be baptized , and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near , are ready to kill him.
But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath , that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance , and judgment to come , Felix trembled , and answered , Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
