5 Denn sein ist das Meer, und er hat's gemacht; und seine Hände haben das Trockene bereitet.

Psalms 95:5

The sea is his, and he made it
He made it, and therefore it is, and all creatures in it; he sets bounds to it, and its waves, and restrains the raging of it at his pleasure, ( Matthew 8:26 Matthew 8:27 ) ,

and his hands formed the dry land;
the whole world, all besides the sea, the vast continent; he is the Maker of it, and all creatures in it; without him was nothing made that is made; and, being the Creator of all things, is the proper object of worship, ( John 1:2 John 1:3 ) ( Romans 1:25 ) , as follows.

3 Denn der HERR ist ein großer Gott und ein großer König über alle Götter.
4 Denn in seiner Hand ist, was unten in der Erde ist; und die Höhen der Berge sind auch sein.
5 Denn sein ist das Meer, und er hat's gemacht; und seine Hände haben das Trockene bereitet.
6 Kommt, laßt uns anbeten und knieen und niederfallen vor dem HERRN, der uns gemacht hat.
7 Denn er ist unser Gott und wir das Volk seiner Weide und Schafe seiner Hand. Heute, so ihr seine Stimme höret,
