For as the womancoriginates from the man, soalso the man has his birth through the woman; and 1allthingsdoriginate 2from God.
133Judgeefor yourselves : is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
Does not evennatureitselfteach you that if a manhaslonghair, it is a dishonor to him,
but if a womanhaslonghair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.
But ifone is inclined to be contentious, 4we havenofotherpractice, nor have 5the churches of God.
But in givingthisinstruction, 6I do not praise you, because you cometogether not for the better but for the worse.
For, in the first place, when you cometogethergas a church, I hear that h7divisionsexistamong you; and in part I believe it.
For there 8mustalso be factionsamong you, 9so that those who are approved may becomeievidentamong you.
20Therefore when you meettogether , it is not to eat the Lord'sSupper,
for in your eatingeachonetakes his ownsupperfirst; and one is hungry and 10another is drunk.
