For to one is given the word of 1wisdomthrough the Spirit, and to another the word of 2knowledgeaccording to the sameSpirit;
to another3faithaby the sameSpirit, and to another4gifts of bhealingcby the oneSpirit,
and to another the deffecting of e5miracles, and to another6prophecy, and to another the f7distinguishing of spirits, to another various 8kinds of tongues, and to another the 9interpretation of tongues.
But one and the sameSpiritworksallthesethings, 10distributing to eachoneindividuallyjust as He wills.
For even11as the body is one and yet hasmanymembers, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are onebody, 12soalso is Christ.
For g13by oneSpirit we were allbaptized into onebody, whether14JewsorGreeks, whetherslavesorfree, and we were allmade to 15drink of oneSpirit.
For 16the body is not onemember, but many.
15If the footsays, "Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasonhany the less a part of the body.
And if the earsays, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," it is not for thisreasoniany the less a part of the body.
17If the wholebody were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?
But nowGod has 17placed the members, eachone of them, in the body, 18just as He desired.
