22
Are they 5Hebrews ? 6So am I. Are they 7Israelites ? 8So am I. Are they a9descendants of Abraham ? 10So am I.
23
Are they 11servants of Christ ?-I speak as if insane -I moreso ; in b12farmorelabors, in c13farmoreimprisonments, d14beatentimeswithoutnumber, often in 15danger of death.
24Fivetimes I received from the Jews16thirty-nine lashes.
25Threetimes I was 17beaten with rods, once I was 18stoned, threetimes I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep.
26
I have been on frequentjourneys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my 19countrymen, dangers from the 20Gentiles, dangers in the 21city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangersamong22falsebrethren ;
27
I have been in 23labor and hardship, ethroughmanysleeplessnights, in 24hunger and thirst, often25withoutfood, in cold and f26exposure.
28Apart from such gexternal things, there is the dailypressure on me of concern for 27all the churches.
29Who is 28weakwithout my being weak ? Who is hled into siniwithout my intenseconcern ?
