14just as you alsopartially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, in 1the day of our LordJesus.
In thisconfidence I intended at first to 2come to you, so that you might atwicereceive a b3blessing;
16cthat is, to 4passdyour way into 5Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and by you to be 6helped on my journey to Judea.
17Therefore, I was not vacillating when I intended to do this, was I? Orwhat I purpose, do I purpose7according to the flesh, so that with me there will be yes, yes and no, no at the same time?
But as 8God is faithful, 9our word to you is not yes and no.
For 10the Son of God, ChristJesus, who was preachedamong you by us-by me and 11Silvanus and 12Timothy -was not yes and no, but is yes13in Him.
For 14as many as are the promises of God, 15in Him they are yes; thereforealsothrough Him is 16our Amen to the glory of Godthrough us.
21Now He who 17establishes us with you in Christ and 18anointed us is God,
who also19sealed us and 20gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a epledge.
But 21I callGod as witnessfto my soul, that 22to spare you I did not comeagain to 23Corinth.
Not that we 24lord it over your faith, but are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are 25standingfirm.
