11 1Only 2Luke is with me. Pick up 3Mark and bring him with you, 4for he is useful to me for service. 12 But 5Tychicus I have sent to 6Ephesus. 13 When you come bring the cloak which I left at 7Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 8Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm ; 9the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our ateaching. 16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; 10may it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and 11strengthened me, so that through me 12the proclamation might bbe 13fully accomplished, and that all 14the Gentiles might hear ; and I was 15rescued out of 16the lion's mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will c17bring me safely to His 18heavenly kingdom ; 19to dHim be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 19 Greet Prisca and 20Aquila, and 21the household of Onesiphorus. 20 22Erastus remained at 23Corinth, but 24Trophimus I left sick at 25Miletus. 21 26Make every effort to come before 27winter. Eubulus greets you, also Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren.
