30So when they were sentaway, 1they wentdown to Antioch; and having gathered the acongregationtogether, they delivered the letter.
When they had read it, they rejoicedbecause of its bencouragement.
322Judas and 3Silas, alsobeing4prophetsthemselves, cencouraged and strengthened5the brethren with a lengthymessage.
After they had spenttime there, they were sentaway from the brethren6in peace to those who had 7sent them out.
[dBut it seemedgood to Silas to remainthere.]
But 8Paul and Barnabasstayed in Antioch, teaching and 9preaching with manyothersalso, 10the word of the Lord.
36AftersomedaysPaulsaid to Barnabas, "Let us return and visit the brethren in 11everycity in which we proclaimed12the word of the Lord, and see how they are."
37Barnabaswanted to take13John, calledMark, along with them also.
But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had 14deserted them ein Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work.
And there occurred such a sharpdisagreement that they separated from oneanother, and Barnabastook15Mark with him and sailedaway to 16Cyprus.
But Paulchose17Silas and left, being 18committed by the brethren to the grace of the Lord.
