11
But I, brethren, if I stillpreachcircumcision, why am I still1persecuted ? Then2the stumblingblock of the cross has been abolished.
12
I wish that 3those who are troubling you would evena4mutilate themselves.
13
For you were called to 5freedom, brethren ; 6only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but throughlove7serveoneanother.
14
For 8the wholeLaw is fulfilled in oneword, in the statement, "9YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
15
But if you 10bite and devouroneanother, takecare that you are not consumed by oneanother.
16
But I say, 11walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out 12the desire of the flesh.
17
For 13the fleshbsets its desireagainst the Spirit, and the Spiritagainst the flesh ; for these are in opposition to oneanother, 14so that you may not do the things that you cplease.
18
But if you are 15led by the Spirit, 16you are not under the Law.
19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: d17immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20idolatry, 18sorcery, enmities, 19strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, 20disputes, dissensions, e21factions,
21envying, 22drunkenness, carousing, and things likethese, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practicesuchthings will not 23inherit the kingdom of God.
