The 3nations will see your righteousness, And allkings your glory; And you will be called by a new4nameWhich the mouth of the LORD will designate.
You will also be a 5crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, And a royaladiadem in the hand of your God.
It will nolonger be said to you, "b6Forsaken," Nor to your land will it anylonger be said, "cDesolate "; But you will be called, "dMy delight is in her," And your land, "e7Married "; For the 8LORDdelights in you, And to Him your land will be married.
For as a youngmanmarries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the fbridegroomrejoicesover the bride, So your 9God will rejoiceover you.
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed10watchmen; Allday and allnight they will neverkeepsilent. You who 11remind the LORD, take norest for yourselves;
And 12give Him norestuntil He establishes And makes13Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
814The LORD has sworn by His righthand and by His strongarm, "I will 15neveragaingive your grain as food for your enemies; Nor will gforeignersdrink your newwine for which you have labored."
But those who 16garner it will eat it and praise the LORD; And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
10Gothrough, 17gothrough the gates, Clear the wayhfor the people; 18Build up, build up the 19highway, Remove the stones, lift up a 20standardover the peoples.
11Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the 21end of the earth, 22Say to the daughter of Zion, "Lo, your 23salvationcomes; 24Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompensebefore Him."
