7just as 1Sodom and Gomorrah and the 2citiesaround them, since they in the sameway as theseindulged in grossimmorality and 3wentafterastrangeflesh, are exhibited as an b4example in undergoing the 5punishment of eternalfire.
8Yet in the samewaythesemen, also by dreaming, 6defile the flesh, and rejectauthority, and revilecangelic majesties.
But 7Michael8the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and arguedabout9the body of Moses, did not darepronounceagainst him a railingjudgment, but said, "10The Lordrebuke you!"
But 11thesemenrevile the things which they do not understand ; and 12the things which they know by instinct, 13likeunreasoninganimals, by thesethings they are ddestroyed.
11Woe to them! For they have gone14the way of Cain, and for payethey have rushedheadlong into 15the error of Balaam, and 16perished in the rebellion of Korah.
12These are the men who are fhiddenreefs17in your lovefeasts when they feast with you 18withoutfear, caring for themselves ; 19cloudswithoutwater, 20carriedalong by winds ; autumntreeswithoutfruit, gdoublydead, 21uprooted ;
1322wildwaves of the sea, casting up 23their ownhshamelikefoam ; wanderingstars, 24for whom the iblackdarkness has been reservedforever.
It was also about these men that 25Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, "26Behold, the Lordcame with jmanythousands of His holyones,
1527to executejudgment upon all, and to convictall the ungodly of all their ungodlydeedswhich they have done in an ungodlyway, and of all the harshthingswhich28ungodlysinners have spokenagainst Him."
16These are 29grumblers, findingfault, 30followingafter their own lusts ; kthey speak31arrogantly, flatteringpeople32for the sake of gaining an advantage.
