151Some, to be sure, are preachingChristevenafrom envy and strife, but somealsobfrom goodwill ;

the formerproclaimChrist3out of selfishambitioncratherthan from puremotives, thinking to cause me distress in my d4imprisonment.
18Whatthen ? Only that in everyway, whether in pretenseor in truth, Christ is proclaimed ; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice,
for I know that this will turn out for my edeliverance5through your fprayers and the provision of 6the Spirit of JesusChrist,
20according to my 7earnestexpectation and 8hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with 9allboldness, Christ will evennow, as always, be 10exalted in my body, 11whether by lifeor by death.
For to me, 12to live is Christ and to die is gain.
22gBut if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean 13fruitfullabor for me; and I do not knowhwhich to choose.
But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the 14desire to depart and 15be with Christ, for that is verymuchbetter ;
24yet to remain on in the flesh is morenecessary for your sake.
