In the LORD I 1takerefuge; How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your 2mountain;
For, behold, the wicked3bend the bow, They a4makeready their arrow upon the string To 5shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3If the 6foundations are destroyed, What can the righteousdo?"
The LORD is in His 7holytemple; the bLORD'S8throne is in heaven; His 9eyesbehold, His eyelidstest the sons of men.
The LORD10tests the righteous and 11the wicked, And the one who lovesviolence His soulhates.
Upon the wicked He will 12raincsnares; 13Fire and brimstone and 14burningwind will be the portion of 15their cup.
For the LORD is 16righteous, 17He lovesdrighteousness; The upright will 18behold His face.
