Psalm 130

BBE 1 <A Song of the going up.> Out of the deep have I sent up my cry to you, O Lord. NIV 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; BBE 2 Lord, let my voice come before you: let your ears be awake to the voice of my prayer. NIV 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. BBE 3 O Jah, if you took note of every sin, who would go free? NIV 3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? BBE 4 But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be feared. NIV 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. BBE 5 I am waiting for the Lord, my soul is waiting for him, and my hope is in his word. NIV 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. BBE 6 My soul is watching for the Lord more than those who are watching for the morning; yes, more than the watchers for the morning. NIV 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. BBE 7 O Israel, have hope in the Lord; for with the Lord is mercy and full salvation. NIV 7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. BBE 8 And he will make Israel free from all his sins. NIV 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
