Psalm 98

GNT 1 Sing a new song to the Lord; he has done wonderful things! By his own power and holy strength he has won the victory. NIV 1 Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. GNT 2 The Lord announced his victory; he made his saving power known to the nations. NIV 2 The LORD has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations. GNT 3 He kept his promise to the people of Israel with loyalty and constant love for them. All people everywhere have seen the victory of our God. NIV 3 He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. GNT 4 Sing for joy to the Lord, all the earth; praise him with songs and shouts of joy! NIV 4 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; GNT 5 Sing praises to the Lord! Play music on the harps! NIV 5 make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, GNT 6 Blow trumpets and horns, and shout for joy to the Lord, our king. NIV 6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn-- shout for joy before the LORD, the King. GNT 7 Roar, sea, and every creature in you; sing, earth, and all who live on you! NIV 7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. GNT 8 Clap your hands, you rivers; you hills, sing together with joy before the Lord, NIV 8 Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy; GNT 9 because he comes to rule the earth. He will rule the peoples of the world with justice and fairness. NIV 9 let them sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.
