Psalm 107:18-28 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
18 They loathed all food1 and drew near the gates of death.2 19 Then they cried3 to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them4 from their distress. 20 He sent forth his word5 and healed them;6 he rescued7 them from the grave.8 21 Let them give thanks9 to the LORD for his unfailing love10 and his wonderful deeds11 for men. 22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings12 and tell of his works13 with songs of joy.14 23 Others went out on the sea15 in ships;16 they were merchants on the mighty waters. 24 They saw the works of the LORD,17 his wonderful deeds in the deep. 25 For he spoke18 and stirred up a tempest19 that lifted high the waves.20 26 They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril21 their courage melted22 away. 27 They reeled23 and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wits' end. 28 Then they cried24 out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.25
