It rises at one end of the heavens1 and makes its circuit to the other;2 nothing is hidden from its heat.
The law of the LORD3 is perfect,4 reviving the soul.5 The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,6 making wise the simple.78
The precepts of the LORD are right,8 giving joy9 to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.109
The fear of the LORD11 is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.1210
They are more precious than gold,13 than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey,14 than honey from the comb.1511
By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.1613
Keep your servant also from willful sins;17 may they not rule over me.18 Then will I be blameless,19 innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing20 in your sight, O LORD, my Rock21 and my Redeemer.22
