Psalms 70:3

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame
In ( Psalms 40:15 ) it is, "let them be desolate"; which seems to respect their land and houses, here their persons; (See Gill on Psalms 40:15);

that say;
in ( Psalms 40:15 ) it is added, "to me"; not to his people, but himself,

aha, aha:
rejoicing at his calamity and distress. The Targum is,

``we are glad, we are glad;''

(See Gill on Psalms 40:15), and compare with this ( Ezekiel 25:3 ) .

1 Al Vencedor: de David, para acordar. Oh Dios, acude a librarme; apresúrate, oh Dios, a socorrerme.
2 Sean avergonzados y confusos los que buscan mi vida; sean vueltos atrás y avergonzados los que mi mal desean.
3 Sean vueltos en pago de su afrenta los que dicen: ¡Ah! ¡Ah!
4 Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salud: Engrandecido sea Dios.
5 Yo soy pobre y menesteroso; apresúrate a mí, oh Dios. Ayuda mía y mi libertador eres tú; oh SEÑOR, no te detengas.
