And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

The Message: God roars from Zion, shouts from Jerusalem! The thunderclap voice withers the pastures tended by shepherds, shrivels Mount Carmel's proud peak.

He said, "The LORD roars from Zion And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds' pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up."

This is what he saw and heard: “The LORD ’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

And he said, The Lord will give a lion's cry from Zion, his voice will be sounding from Jerusalem; and the fields of the keepers of sheep will become dry, and the top of Carmel will be wasted away.

Und er sprach: Jehova wird aus Zion brüllen und aus Jerusalem seine Stimme erschallen lassen, und die Auen der Hirten werden trauern, und der Gipfel des Karmel wird verdorren.

EGLI disse adunque: Il Signore ruggirà da Sion, e darà fuori la sua voce da Gerusalemme; ed i paschi de’ pastori faranno cordoglio, e la sommità di Carmel si seccherà.

He said: The LORD roars from Zion, and his voice thunders from Jerusalem. The pastures of the shepherds are turning brown, and the top of [Mount] Carmel is dried up.

Und er sprach: Der HERR wird aus Zion brüllen und seine Stimme aus Jerusalem hören lassen, daß die Auen der Hirten jämmerlich stehen werden und der Karmel oben verdorren wird.

And he said, The Lord has spoken out of Sion, and has uttered his voice out of Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds have mourned, and the top of Carmel is dried up.

Amos said, "The Lord will roar from Jerusalem; he will send his voice from Jerusalem. The pastures of the shepherds will become dry, and even the top of Mount Carmel will dry up."

I said, "The LORD roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up."

Esto es lo que vio y oyó: «¡La voz del Señor rugirá desde el monte Sión; su voz tronará desde Jerusalén! Los buenos pastizales de los pastores se secarán y la hierba del monte Carmelo se marchitará y morirá».
