3 Cuando llegaron David y sus hombres a la ciudad, he aquĂ­ que habĂ­a sido quemada, y que sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus hijas habĂ­an sido llevados cautivos.

1 Samuel 30:3

So David and his men came to the city
Or however to the place where it had stood, and where it now lay in ruins:

and, behold, [it was] burnt with fire;
the whole city was laid in ashes:

and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken
captives;
as it appeared afterwards; for upon their first coming they knew not but they were all destroyed; and which they might reasonably suppose from their former treatment of them, unless there were any left upon the spot which could inform them how things were, which does not appear, and which must make their distress the greater.

1 Y aconteciĂł que cuando David y sus hombres llegaron a Siclag al tercer dĂ­a, los amalecitas habĂ­an hecho una incursiĂłn en el Neguev y contra Siclag, y habĂ­an asolado a Siclag y la habĂ­an incendiado;
2 y se llevaron cautivas las mujeres y a todos los que estaban en ella, grandes y pequeños, sin dar muerte a nadie; se los llevaron y siguieron su camino.
3 Cuando llegaron David y sus hombres a la ciudad, he aquĂ­ que habĂ­a sido quemada, y que sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus hijas habĂ­an sido llevados cautivos.
4 Entonces David y la gente que estaba con él alzaron su voz y lloraron, hasta que no les quedaron fuerzas para llorar.
5 Las dos mujeres de David, Ahinoam jezreelita y Abigail, la viuda de Nabal, el de Carmel, habĂ­an sido llevadas cautivas.
