2 Chronicles 9:7

In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation
That is, on the first of the seven days of the feast of unleavened bread, even the fifteenth day of the month Nisan; this was separated from the other days of the festival, and more particularly devoted to religions exercises, see ( Exodus 12:16 ) ; ye shall do no servile work therein;
such as agriculture, or any manufacture or mechanical business, which they and their servants were at other times employed in; but they might bake bread, and boil or roast their meat, and walk abroad, which they might not do on their sabbaths; and therefore it is so expressed as to distinguish it from the work forbidden on that day.

1 Cuando la reina de Sabá oyó de la fama de Salomón, vino a Jerusalén a probar a Salomón con preguntas difíciles. Ella tenía un séquito muy grande, con camellos cargados de especias y gran cantidad de oro y piedras preciosas. Cuando vino a Salomón, habló con él de todo lo que tenía en su corazón.

2 Y Salomón contestó todas sus preguntas; no hubo nada tan oscuro que Salomón no pudiera explicárselo.

3 Cuando la reina de Sabá vio la sabiduría de Salomón, la casa que él había edificado,

4 los manjares de su mesa, las habitaciones de sus siervos, el porte de sus ministros y sus vestiduras, sus coperos y sus vestiduras, y la escalinata por la cual él subía a la casa del SEÑOR, se quedó sin aliento.

5 Entonces dijo al rey: Era verdad lo que había oído en mi tierra acerca de tus palabras y de tu sabiduría.
