4 Y 茅l se lleg贸 a Agar, y ella concibi贸; y cuando ella vio que hab铆a concebido, miraba con desprecio a su se帽ora.

Genesis 16:4

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived
The formality of the marriage being over, he enjoyed her as his wife, and she immediately conceived by him:

and when she saw that she had conceived;
when she perceived that she was with child:

her mistress was despised in her eyes;
she thought herself above her, and treated her as her inferior, with contempt, and reproached her for her barrenness, as Peninnah did Hannah, ( 1 Samuel 1:6 1 Samuel 1:7 ) ; and it was the more ungrateful, as it was at the motion of her mistress that she was given to Abram for wife.

2 Entonces Sarai dijo a Abram: He aqu铆 que el SE脩OR me ha impedido tener hijos. Ll茅gate, te ruego, a mi sierva; quiz谩 por medio de ella yo tenga hijos. Y Abram escuch贸 la voz de Sarai.
3 Y al cabo de diez a帽os de habitar Abram en la tierra de Cana谩n, Sarai, mujer de Abram, tom贸 a su sierva Agar la egipcia, y se la dio a su marido Abram por mujer.
4 Y 茅l se lleg贸 a Agar, y ella concibi贸; y cuando ella vio que hab铆a concebido, miraba con desprecio a su se帽ora.
5 Y Sarai dijo a Abram: Recaiga sobre ti mi agravio. Yo entregu茅 a mi sierva en tus brazos; pero cuando ella vio que hab铆a concebido, me mir贸 con desprecio. Juzgue el SE脩OR entre t煤 y yo.
6 Pero Abram dijo a Sarai: Mira, tu sierva est谩 bajo tu poder; haz con ella lo que mejor te parezca. Y Sarai la trat贸 muy mal y ella huy贸 de su presencia.
