Genesis 30:28

And he said, appoint me thy wages, and I will give [it].
] Say what thou wilt have, fix what salary thou thinkest sufficient, and I will agree to it, and punctually pay it: this he craftily said, not choosing to propose anything himself, but leaving it to Jacob, knowing very well the honesty and modesty of Jacob, that he would mention less wages than he could have the face to offer him.

26 Dame mis mujeres y mis hijos por los cuales te he servido, y déjame ir; pues tú bien sabes el servicio que te he prestado.

27 Pero Labán le respondió: Si ahora he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, quédate conmigo; me he dado cuenta de que el SEÑOR me ha bendecido por causa tuya.

28 Y añadió: Fíjame tu salario, y te lo daré.

29 Mas él le respondió: Tú sabes cómo te he servido, y cómo le ha ido a tu ganado conmigo.

30 Porque tenías poco antes de que yo viniera, y ha aumentado hasta ser multitud; y el SEÑOR te ha bendecido en todo lo que he hecho. Y ahora, ¿cuándo proveeré yo también para mi propia casa?
