Genesis 37:31

And they took Joseph's coat
After they had told Reuben what they had done with him, who being willing to make the best of things as it was, joined with them in the following scheme: by this it appears, that when they took Joseph out of the pit they did not put his coat on him, but sold him naked, or almost so, to the merchants: and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;
that being, as the Targum of Jonathan and Jarchi observe, most like to human blood.

29 Cuando Rubén volvió al pozo, he aquí, José no estaba en el pozo; entonces rasgó sus vestidos.
30 Y volvió a sus hermanos y les dijo: El muchacho no estå allí; y yo, ¿adónde iré?
31 Entonces tomaron la tĂșnica de JosĂ© y mataron un macho cabrĂ­o, y empaparon la tĂșnica en la sangre;
32 y enviaron la tĂșnica de muchos colores y la llevaron a su padre, y dijeron: Encontramos esto; te rogamos que lo examines para ver si es la tĂșnica de tu hijo o no.
33 El la examinĂł, y dijo: Es la tĂșnica de mi hijo. Una fiera lo ha devorado; sin duda JosĂ© ha sido despedazado.
