19 Y aconteci贸 que cuando su se帽or escuch贸 las palabras que su mujer le habl贸, diciendo: Esto es lo que tu esclavo me hizo, se encendi贸 su ira.

Genesis 39:19

And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his
wife
The story she related concerning Joseph, which was her own invention, and a lie: which she spake unto him, saying, after this manner did thy servant to
me;
attempting to violate her chastity, as she pretended: that his wrath was kindled;
that is, against Joseph, without strictly examining her words, which they would not bear, her story being but ill put together, and without hearing Joseph's defence.

17 Entonces ella le habl贸 con estas palabras, diciendo: Vino a m铆 el esclavo hebreo que nos trajiste, para burlarse de m铆;
18 y cuando levant茅 la voz y grit茅, 茅l dej贸 su ropa junto a m铆 y huy贸 afuera.
19 Y aconteci贸 que cuando su se帽or escuch贸 las palabras que su mujer le habl贸, diciendo: Esto es lo que tu esclavo me hizo, se encendi贸 su ira.
20 Entonces el amo de Jos茅 lo tom贸 y lo ech贸 en la c谩rcel, en el lugar donde se encerraba a los presos del rey; y all铆 permaneci贸 en la c谩rcel.
21 Mas el SE脩OR estaba con Jos茅 y le extendi贸 su misericordia, y le concedi贸 gracia ante los ojos del jefe de la c谩rcel.
