Isaiah 2:18

And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
] The images of saints worshipped by the Papists: after the destruction of antichrist, and when the spiritual reign of Christ takes place, there will be no idolatry or worshipping of images any more, see ( Zechariah 13:2 ) . The word (Mylyla) , used for "idols", signifies things that are not, for an idol is nothing in the world, ( 1 Corinthians 8:4 ) these the Lord "will cause to pass away", even all of them, they shall disappear.

16 contra todas las naves de Tarsis y contra toda obra de arte preciada.
17 Será humillado el orgullo del hombre y abatida la altivez de los hombres; el SEÑOR solo será exaltado en aquel día,
18 y los ídolos desaparecerán por completo.
19 Se meterán los hombres en las cuevas de las rocas y en las hendiduras de la tierra, ante el terror del SEÑOR y ante el esplendor de su majestad, cuando se levante para hacer temblar la tierra.
20 Aquel día el hombre arrojará a los topos y a los murciélagos, sus ídolos de plata y sus ídolos de oro que se había hecho para adorarlos;
