Luke 5:2

And saw two ships standing by the lake
Or two fishing boats; which were, as the Arabic version renders it, "detained by anchors at the shore of the lake"; the one belonging to Peter and Andrew, and the other to Zebedee, and his two sons, James and John:

but the fishermen were gone out of them;
that is, either the above persons, or their servants:

and were washing their nets;
on shore; they having gathered a great deal of soil and filthiness, but had caught no fish; and therefore were cleansing their nets, in order to lay them up, finding it to be in vain to make any further attempts with them at present; and which considered, makes the following miracle the more illustrious.

1 Y aconteci贸 que mientras la multitud se agolpaba sobre El para o铆r la palabra de Dios, estando Jes煤s junto al lago de Genesaret,
2 vio dos barcas que estaban a la orilla del lago, pero los pescadores hab铆an bajado de ellas y lavaban las redes.
3 Subiendo a una de las barcas, que era de Sim贸n, pidi贸 que se separara de tierra un poco; y sent谩ndose, ense帽aba a las multitudes desde la barca.
4 Cuando termin贸 de hablar, dijo a Sim贸n: Sal a la parte m谩s profunda y echad vuestras redes para pescar.
5 Respondiendo Sim贸n, dijo: Maestro, hemos estado trabajando toda la noche y no hemos pescado nada, pero porque t煤 lo pides, echar茅 las redes.
