And Peter, calling to remembrance
Not so much the tree, and its spreading leaves, and the greatness of it, and the flourishing condition it was in, the other day, as the imprecation of Christ upon it:

saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is
withered away;
which he observed, as matter of astonishment, and as an instance of Christ's surprising power and authority; (See Gill on Matthew 21:20).

19 Y cuando atardecía, solían salir fuera de la ciudad.
20 Por la mañana, cuando pasaban, vieron la higuera seca desde las raíces.
21 Entonces Pedro, acordándose, le dijo<***>: Rabí, mira, la higuera que maldijiste se ha secado.
22 Y Jesús respondió<***>, diciéndoles: Tened fe en Dios.
23 En verdad os digo que cualquiera que diga a este monte: "Quítate y arrójate al mar", y no dude en su corazón, sino crea que lo que dice va a suceder, le será concedido.
