1 Y los hijos de los profetas dijeron a Eliseo: Mira, el lugar en que habitamos contigo es muy estrecho para nosotros.
2 Te rogamos que nos dejes ir al Jord谩n, para que cada uno de nosotros tome de all铆 una viga, y nos hagamos all铆 un lugar donde habitar. Y 茅l dijo: Id.
3 Entonces uno dijo: Te rogamos que consientas en ir con tus siervos. Y 茅l respondi贸: Yo ir茅.
4 Fue, pues, con ellos; y cuando llegaron al Jord谩n, cortaron 谩rboles.
5 Pero sucedi贸 que cuando uno de ellos estaba derribando un tronco, el hierro del hacha se le cay贸 al agua; y grit贸, y dijo: 隆Ah, se帽or m铆o, era prestado!
6 Entonces el hombre de Dios dijo: 驴D贸nde cay贸? Y cuando le mostr贸 el lugar, cort贸 un palo y lo ech贸 all铆, e hizo flotar el hierro.
7 Y dijo: T贸malo. Y 茅l extendi贸 la mano y lo tom贸.

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 6

In this chapter are recorded other wonders of Elisha, as causing iron to swim, 2Ki 6:1-7 having knowledge of the secret counsels of the king of Syria, which he disclosed to the king of Israel, 2Ki 6:8-12 smiting the Syrian army with blindness sent to take him, and which he led into the midst of Samaria, 2Ki 6:13-23, and the chapter is closed with an account of the siege of Samaria, and a sore famine in it, 2Ki 6:24-33.
