Deuteronomy 29:7

And when ye came unto this place
The borders of Moab, the wilderness before it, to which joined the plains they were now in; see ( Numbers 21:13 Numbers 21:20 ) ( Deuteronomy 2:26 ) ;

Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, came out against us unto
battle;
not together, but one after the other, and that very quickly; as soon almost as they had fought with the one, and conquered him, the other came out against them:

and we smote them;
killed them and their armies, and the inhabitants of their countries; the history of which see in ( Numbers 21:23-35 ) .

Deuteronomy 29:7 In-Context

5 For forty years I led you in the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.
6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or strong drink, so that you might know that I am the LORD your God.
7 When you reached this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out against us in battle, but we defeated them.
8 We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
9 So keep and follow the words of this covenant, that you may prosper in all you do.
