Joshua 15:4

4 It proceeded to Azmon, joined the Brook of Egypt, and ended at the Sea. [a] This was their [b] southern border.

Joshua 15:4

[From thence] it passed towards Azmon, and went out unto the
river of Egypt
In like manner is this coast described, ( Numbers 34:5 ) ; it is called by Jerom F24 Asemona, and said to be a city in the desert, to the south of Judah, dividing Egypt, and the lot of the tribe of Judah, leading to the sea:

and the outgoings of that coast were at the sea;
the Mediterranean sea; or to the west, as the Targum; this was the utmost border of the tribe of Judah this way:

this shall be your south coast;
of the lot that fell to the tribe of Judah.

3 proceeded south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continued on to Zin, went over to the south of Kadesh-barnea, ran past Hezron up to Addar, and curved toward Karka.
4 It proceeded to Azmon, joined the Brook of Egypt, and ended at the Sea. This was their southern border.
5 The eastern border was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan.
6 went up to Beth-hoglah, proceeded north of Beth-arabah, and went up to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.
