11 ‘As a complaint against you, we brush off the dust of your city that has collected on our feet. But know this: God's kingdom has come to you.'

Luke 10:11

Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us
The Syriac version adds, "to our feet"; and so in Beza's most ancient copy, and the Arabic and Persic versions read, "which cleaves to our feet"; which agrees with ( Matthew 10:14 ) ( Mark 6:11 ) .

we do wipe against you:
for a testimony against them, that they had been with them, and were rejected by them; (See Gill on Matthew 10:14) (See Gill on Mark 6:11)

notwithstanding be ye sure of this;
they might assure themselves of this, and which will be an aggravation of their guilt, and increase their punishment another day:

that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you;
was at their very doors, since the ministers of it, of the Gospel dispensation, the harbingers of the Messiah, who were sent to publish his Gospel, to proclaim him as king, and de clare that his kingdom was at hand, had been with them, and they had despised them.

9 Heal the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘God's kingdom has come upon you.'
10 Whenever you enter a city and the people don't welcome you, go out into the streets and say,
11 ‘As a complaint against you, we brush off the dust of your city that has collected on our feet. But know this: God's kingdom has come to you.'
12 I assure you that Sodom will be better off on Judgment Day than that city.
13 "How terrible it will be for you, Chorazin. How terrible it will be for you, Bethsaida. If the miracles done among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have changed their hearts and lives long ago. They would have sat around in funeral clothes and ashes.
