The Old Roman road from Jerusalem to Jericho

The old Roman road from Jerusalem to Jericho was legendary for the dangers it posed to first-century travelers (10:25-37). The road is part of a precipitous drop from the east side of the Mount of Olives down to the Jordan Valley.
