(f) It is an abominable and detestable thing.
20:20 And if a man shall lie with his uncles wife, he hath uncovered his uncles nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die g childless.
(g) They shall be cut off from their people, and their children shall be taken as bastards, and not counted among the Israelites.
20:21 And if a man shall take his brothers wife, it [is] an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brothers h nakedness; they shall be childless.

(h) Read ( Leviticus 18:16 ).
20:24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that i floweth with milk and honey: I [am] the LORD your God, which have separated you from [other] people.
(i) Full of abundance of all things.
20:25 Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls k abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
(k) By eating them contrary to my commandment.
