See thou do it not (Hora mh). The angel promptly interposes (legei, dramatic present). See 2 Peter 19:10 for discussion of this same phrase ora mh when John had once before started to worship the angel in his excitement. Here we have added to the words in 2 Peter 19:10 "the prophets (twn prophtwn) and also "them which keep the words of this book" (twn thrountwn tou logou tou bibliou toutou), the last a repetition from 2 Peter 22:7 . In both places we have "Worship God" (twi qewi proskunhson). And not an angel.
