10 God shews the justice of his ways towards the penitent and towards revolters.
17 He maintains his justice.
21 Upon the news of the taking of Jerusalem he prophecies the desolation of the land.

Ezekiel 33:24  (King James Version)
Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

The small remnant which continued in the land under Gedaliah, after the desolation of Jerusalem, flattered themselves, notwithstanding all their crimes, that they should inherit the whole land.
