17 耶 和 華 這 樣 說 ： 我 要 用 我 手 裡 的 杖 擊 打 河 中 的 水 ， 水 就 變 作 血 ； 因 此 ， 你 必 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 。

Exodus 7:17

Thus saith the Lord, in this thou shalt know that I am the
Lord
By the following instance of his power and vengeance:

behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand;
which though in the hand of Moses, ( Exodus 7:18 ) yet he being his ambassador, and representing him, is said to be in the hand of the Lord; and with this he threatens to smite

upon the waters which are in the river;
the river Nile, and the canals thereof:

and they shall be turned to blood;
and if this river was their god, it would abundantly appear that the God of the Hebrews was Jehovah, and above all gods, and particularly above theirs.

15 明 日 早 晨 ， 他 出 來 往 水 邊 去 ， 你 要 往 河 邊 迎 接 他 ， 手 裡 要 拿 著 那 變 過 蛇 的 杖 ，

16 對 他 說 ： 耶 和 華 ─ 希 伯 來 人 的 　 神 打 發 我 來 見 你 ， 說 ： 容 我 的 百 姓 去 ， 好 在 曠 野 事 奉 我 。 到 如 今 你 還 是 不 聽 。

17 耶 和 華 這 樣 說 ： 我 要 用 我 手 裡 的 杖 擊 打 河 中 的 水 ， 水 就 變 作 血 ； 因 此 ， 你 必 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 。

18 河 裡 的 魚 必 死 ， 河 也 要 腥 臭 ， 埃 及 人 就 要 厭 惡 吃 這 河 裡 的 水 。

19 耶 和 華 曉 諭 摩 西 說 ： 你 對 亞 倫 說 ： 把 你 的 杖 伸 在 埃 及 所 有 的 水 以 上 ， 就 是 在 他 們 的 江 、 河 、 池 、 塘 以 上 ， 叫 水 都 變 作 血 。 在 埃 及 遍 地 ， 無 論 在 木 器 中 ， 石 器 中 ， 都 必 有 血 。
