And they said, we will call the damsel
Who perhaps through modesty had withdrawn herself to her own apartment, while the man and her friends were discoursing on this subject: and inquire at her mouth;
what she says to it, whether willing to go directly or not; the matter in question was referred to her, and left to her decision.

55 利 百 加 的 哥 哥 和 他 母 親 說 ： 讓 女 子 同 我 們 再 住 幾 天 ， 至 少 十 天 ， 然 後 他 可 以 去 。

56 僕 人 說 ： 耶 和 華 既 賜 給 我 通 達 的 道 路 ， 你 們 不 要 耽 誤 我 ， 請 打 發 我 走 ， 回 我 主 人 那 裡 去 罷 。

57 他 們 說 ： 我 們 把 女 子 叫 來 問 問 他 ，

58 就 叫 了 利 百 加 來 ， 問 他 說 ： 你 和 這 人 同 去 麼 ？ 利 百 加 說 ： 我 去 。

59 於 是 他 們 打 發 妹 子 利 百 加 和 他 的 乳 母 ， 同 亞 伯 拉 罕 的 僕 人 ， 並 跟 從 僕 人 的 ， 都 走 了 。
