創世記 29:33

33 他 又 懷 孕 生 子 ， 就 說 ： 耶 和 華 因 為 聽 見 我 失 寵 ， 所 以 又 賜 給 我 這 個 兒 子 ， 於 是 給 他 起 名 叫 西 緬 ( 就 是 聽 見 的 意 思 ) 。

Genesis 29:33

And she conceived again, and bare a son
As soon as she well could. The Jews ^F24 have a notion, that Leah brought forth her sons at seven months' end: and said, because the Lord hath heard that I [was] hated;
or less loved than her sister: he hath therefore given me this [son] also;
to comfort her under the trial and exercise, and engage her husband's love the more unto her: and she called his name Simeon:
which signifies "hearing", and answers to the reason of her having him as she concluded.

32 利 亞 懷 孕 生 子 ， 就 給 他 起 名 叫 流 便 ( 就 是 有 兒 子 的 意 思 ) ， 因 而 說 ： 耶 和 華 看 見 我 的 苦 情 ， 如 今 我 的 丈 夫 必 愛 我 。

33 他 又 懷 孕 生 子 ， 就 說 ： 耶 和 華 因 為 聽 見 我 失 寵 ， 所 以 又 賜 給 我 這 個 兒 子 ， 於 是 給 他 起 名 叫 西 緬 ( 就 是 聽 見 的 意 思 ) 。

34 他 又 懷 孕 生 子 ， 起 名 叫 利 未 ( 就 是 聯 合 的 意 思 ) ， 說 ： 我 給 丈 夫 生 了 三 個 兒 子 ， 他 必 與 我 聯 合 。

35 他 又 懷 孕 生 子 ， 說 ： 這 回 我 要 讚 美 耶 和 華 ， 因 此 給 他 起 名 叫 猶 大 ( 就 是 讚 美 的 意 思 ) 。 這 才 停 了 生 育 。
