6 於 是 雅 各 和 一 切 與 他 同 在 的 人 到 了 迦 南 地 的 路 斯 ， 就 是 伯 特 利 。

Genesis 35:6

So Jacob came to Luz, which [is] in the land of Canaan, that
[is] Bethel
The place Jacob had called Bethel, when he was there before, was formerly called Luz, ( Genesis 28:19 ) ; and is here said to be in the land of Canaan, that is, in that part of the land which was inhabited by those who were properly called Canaanites, to distinguish it from another Luz, which was in the land of the Hittites; ( Judges 1:26 ) ;

he and all the people that [were] with him;
wives, children, servants, or whoever else came from Shechem, these all came safe to Luz without any molestation or loss.

4 他 們 就 把 外 邦 人 的 神 像 和 他 們 耳 朵 上 的 環 子 交 給 雅 各 ； 雅 各 都 藏 在 示 劍 那 裡 的 橡 樹 底 下 。

5 他 們 便 起 行 前 往 。 　 神 使 那 周 圍 城 邑 的 人 都 甚 驚 懼 ， 就 不 追 趕 雅 各 的 眾 子 了 。

6 於 是 雅 各 和 一 切 與 他 同 在 的 人 到 了 迦 南 地 的 路 斯 ， 就 是 伯 特 利 。

7 他 在 那 裡 築 了 一 座 壇 ， 就 給 那 地 方 起 名 叫 伊 勒 伯 特 利 ( 就 是 伯 特 利 之 神 的 意 思 ) ； 因 為 他 逃 避 他 哥 哥 的 時 候 ， 　 神 在 那 裡 向 他 顯 現 。

8 利 百 加 的 奶 母 底 波 拉 死 了 ， 就 葬 在 伯 特 利 下 邊 橡 樹 底 下 ； 那 棵 樹 名 叫 亞 倫 巴 古 。
