16 以 利 沙 說 ： 我 指 著 所 事 奉 永 生 的 耶 和 華 起 誓 ， 我 必 不 受 。 乃 縵 再 三 地 求 他 ， 他 卻 不 受 。

2 Kings 5:16

But he said, as the Lord liveth, before whom I stand
Whose minister and prophet he was, and by whom he swears:

I will receive none:
to let him know that this cure was not to be attributed to him, but the Lord only; and that what concern he had in it was not for the sake of money, but for the glory of the God of Israel:

and he urged him to take it, but he refused it;
Naaman was very pressing upon him to receive a gift from him, but he could not be prevailed upon to accept it.

14 於 是 乃 縵 下 去 ， 照 著 　 神 人 的 話 ， 在 約 但 河 裡 沐 浴 七 回 ； 他 的 肉 復 原 ， 好 像 小 孩 子 的 肉 ， 他 就 潔 淨 了 。

15 乃 縵 帶 著 一 切 跟 隨 他 的 人 ， 回 到 　 神 人 那 裡 ， 站 在 他 面 前 ， 說 ： 如 今 我 知 道 ， 除 了 以 色 列 之 外 ， 普 天 下 沒 有 　 神 。 現 在 求 你 收 點 僕 人 的 禮 物 。

17 乃 縵 說 ： 你 若 不 肯 受 ， 請 將 兩 騾 子 馱 的 土 賜 給 僕 人 。 從 今 以 後 ， 僕 人 必 不 再 將 燔 祭 或 平 安 祭 獻 與 別 　 神 ， 只 獻 給 耶 和 華 。

18 惟 有 一 件 事 ， 願 耶 和 華 饒 恕 你 僕 人 ： 我 主 人 進 臨 門 廟 叩 拜 的 時 候 ， 我 用 手 攙 他 在 臨 門 廟 ， 我 也 屈 身 。 我 在 臨 門 廟 屈 身 的 這 事 ， 願 耶 和 華 饒 恕 我 。
