Judges 15:9

Then the Philistines went up
From Palestine, which lay low on the shore of the Mediterranean sea:

and pitched in Judah;
in the laud of Judea, which lay higher, particularly in the tribe of Judah, whither they came with an army, and encamped there:

and spread themselves in Lehi;
their forces were so many, that they extended a considerable way, and particularly reached to Lehi, that is, which was afterwards so called; for it has its name by anticipation from the jaw bone, which it signifies, with which Samson slew many in this place, as after related.

7 參 孫 對 非 利 士 人 說 ： 你 們 既 然 這 樣 行 ， 我 必 向 你 們 報 仇 才 肯 罷 休 。

8 參 孫 就 大 大 擊 殺 他 們 ， 連 腿 帶 腰 都 砍 斷 了 。 他 便 下 去 ， 住 在 以 坦 磐 的 穴 內 。

9 非 利 士 人 上 去 安 營 在 猶 大 ， 布 散 在 利 希 。

10 猶 大 人 說 ： 你 們 為 何 上 來 攻 擊 我 們 呢 ？ 他 們 說 ： 我 們 上 來 是 要 捆 綁 參 孫 ； 他 向 我 們 怎 樣 行 ， 我 們 也 要 向 他 怎 樣 行 。

11 於 是 有 三 千 猶 大 人 下 到 以 坦 磐 的 穴 內 ， 對 參 孫 說 ： 非 利 士 人 轄 制 我 們 ， 你 不 知 道 麼 ？ 你 向 我 們 行 的 是 甚 麼 事 呢 ？ 他 回 答 說 ： 他 們 向 我 怎 樣 行 ， 我 也 要 向 他 們 怎 樣 行 。
