士師記 6:10

10 又 對 你 們 說 ： 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 。 你 們 住 在 亞 摩 利 人 的 地 ， 不 可 敬 畏 他 們 的 　 神 。 你 們 竟 不 聽 從 我 的 話 。

Judges 6:10

And I said unto you, I am the Lord your God,
&c:] The covenant God of them and their fathers, and they ought not to have owned and acknowledged any other besides him:

fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell;
meaning not a fear of being hurt by them, but such a fear and reverence of them as to worship them, which was only to be given to the Lord. The Amorites are here put for all the Canaanites, they being a principal people among them:

but ye have not obeyed my voice;
to cleave to him, fear and worship him; they had been guilty of idolatry, and this is the sin the prophet was sent to reprove them for, and bring them to a sense of.

8 耶 和 華 就 差 遣 先 知 到 以 色 列 人 那 裡 ， 對 他 們 說 ： 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 說 ： 我 曾 領 你 們 從 埃 及 上 來 ， 出 了 為 奴 之 家 ，

9 救 你 們 脫 離 埃 及 人 的 手 ， 並 脫 離 一 切 欺 壓 你 們 之 人 的 手 ， 把 他 們 從 你 們 面 前 趕 出 ， 將 他 們 的 地 賜 給 你 們 ；

10 又 對 你 們 說 ： 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 。 你 們 住 在 亞 摩 利 人 的 地 ， 不 可 敬 畏 他 們 的 　 神 。 你 們 竟 不 聽 從 我 的 話 。

11 耶 和 華 的 使 者 到 了 俄 弗 拉 ， 坐 在 亞 比 以 謝 族 人 約 阿 施 的 橡 樹 下 。 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 基 甸 正 在 酒 醡 那 裡 打 麥 子 ， 為 要 防 備 米 甸 人 。

12 耶 和 華 的 使 者 向 基 甸 顯 現 ， 對 他 說 ： 大 能 的 勇 士 啊 ， 耶 和 華 與 你 同 在 ！
