Acts 10:27

And as he talked with him
About the excessive respect he showed him, and his own infirmity and frailty, and unworthiness, as a creature:

he went in;
to Cornelius's house, at the door, and through the porch, to some interior room and apartment in it:

and found many that were come together;
besides his family, many of his relations and intimate friends, whom he had got together on this occasion, that they might receive some advantage, as well as himself.

25 彼 得 一 進 去 ， 哥 尼 流 就 迎 接 他 ， 俯 伏 在 他 腳 前 拜 他 。

26 彼 得 拉 他 ， 說 ： 你 起 來 ， 我 也 是 人 。

27 彼 得 和 他 說 著 話 進 去 ， 見 有 好 些 人 在 那 裡 聚 集 ，

28 就 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 知 道 ， 猶 太 人 和 別 國 的 人 親 近 來 往 本 是 不 合 例 的 ， 但 神 已 經 指 示 我 ， 無 論 甚 麼 人 都 不 可 看 作 俗 而 不 潔 淨 的 。

29 所 以 我 被 請 的 時 候 ， 就 不 推 辭 而 來 。 現 在 請 問 ： 你 們 叫 我 來 有 甚 麼 意 思 呢 ？
