14 至 於 我 ， 我 在 你 們 手 中 ， 你 們 眼 看 何 為 善 ， 何 為 正 ， 就 那 樣 待 我 罷 ！

Jeremiah 26:14

As for me, behold, I [am] in your hand
In their power, as they were the chief court of judicature; and to whom it belonged to judge of prophets, and to acquit or condemn them, as they saw fit; wherefore he submits to their authority: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you;
he was not careful about it; he readily submitted to their pleasure, and should patiently endure what they thought fit to inflict upon him; it gave him no great concern whether his life was taken from him or not; he was satisfied he had done what he ought to do, and should do the same, was it to do again; and therefore they might proceed just as they pleased against him.

12 耶 利 米 就 對 眾 首 領 和 眾 民 說 ： 耶 和 華 差 遣 我 預 言 ， 攻 擊 這 殿 和 這 城 ， 說 你 們 所 聽 見 的 這 一 切 話 。

13 現 在 要 改 正 你 們 的 行 動 作 為 ， 聽 從 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 　 神 的 話 ， 他 就 必 後 悔 ， 不 將 所 說 的 災 禍 降 與 你 們 。

14 至 於 我 ， 我 在 你 們 手 中 ， 你 們 眼 看 何 為 善 ， 何 為 正 ， 就 那 樣 待 我 罷 ！

15 但 你 們 要 確 實 地 知 道 ， 若 把 我 治 死 ， 就 使 無 辜 人 的 血 歸 到 你 們 和 這 城 ， 並 其 中 的 居 民 了 ； 因 為 耶 和 華 實 在 差 遣 我 到 你 們 這 著 來 ， 將 這 一 切 話 傳 與 你 們 耳 中 。

16 首 領 和 眾 民 就 對 祭 司 、 先 知 說 ： 這 人 是 不 該 死 的 ， 因 為 他 是 奉 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 　 神 的 名 向 我 們 說 話 。
