Jeremiah 27:17

Hearken not unto them
The false prophets: serve the king of Babylon, and live;
pay homage and tribute to him; which is the way to live in your own land, and enjoy the benefits of that, and of the temple worship; which, if not, you will be utterly deprived of: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
as it certainly will, should you rebel against the king of Babylon; and as it was in a few years after, when they did.

15 耶 和 華 說 ： 我 並 沒 有 打 發 他 們 ， 他 們 卻 託 我 的 名 說 假 預 言 ， 好 使 我 將 你 們 和 向 你 們 說 預 言 的 那 些 先 知 趕 出 去 ， 一 同 滅 亡 。

16 我 又 對 祭 司 和 這 眾 民 說 ： 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 你 們 不 可 聽 那 先 知 對 你 們 所 說 的 預 言 。 他 們 說 ： 耶 和 華 殿 中 的 器 皿 快 要 從 巴 比 倫 帶 回 來 ； 其 實 他 們 向 你 們 說 假 預 言 。

18 他 們 若 果 是 先 知 ， 有 耶 和 華 的 話 臨 到 他 們 ， 讓 他 們 祈 求 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 ， 使 那 在 耶 和 華 殿 中 和 猶 大 王 宮 內 ， 並 耶 路 撒 冷 剩 下 的 器 皿 ， 不 被 帶 到 巴 比 倫 去 。
